What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Duke 1980 Everyone came out on early December day when USF hosted Duke in men's basketball in a game that was televised by a fledging network (at least back then) called ESPN on Dec. 2, 1980. The game also marked the official dedication of the Sun Dome, which was not actually finished for USF's first game of the season, a contest against Florida A&M on Nov. 29. Duke won that game, 83-72, but USF would win the next game for its first Sun Dome win, a 62-44 victory over UNC Greensboro Dec. 6.
