Photo Name: Sun Dome Groundbreaking We've seen scenes like this recently around USF Athletics. The clothes and hairstyles might be different nowadays, but groundbreaking ceremonies like this one from 1977 for the Sun Dome have been aplenty with all of the new construction going on. First, there was the groundbreaking for the basketball practice facility, then the groundbreaking for the new addition to the recreation center. Then, of course, there's the new baseball and softball stadiums, the football practice facility as well as the recently approved soccer stadium.
