TAMPA – Every Bull saw action and 12 different players scored in USF's 82-53 victory over Jacksonville before a crowd of 1,294 at the Sun Dome on Wednesday night.

Akila McDonald led the way with a season-high 16 points, Courtney Williams recorded her third straight double-digit scoring game with 15 points and starting point guard Shalethia Stringfield added 13 points to help the Bulls (2-1) win their second consecutive game.

Shavontae Naylor grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds while Alisia Jenkins and McDonald combined for 17 boards as USF finished with a 57-36 edge on the glass.

"We attacked the glass and that's what I've stressed the last two days in practice," head coach Jose Fernandez said.

McDonald, a 6-foot-4 senior center, recently moved into third place on USF's all-time blocks list and swatted two shots against the Dolphins to bring her career total up to 134.

USF improved to 10-0 all-time against Jacksonville and used its size advantage to jump out to a 47-30 lead at halftime. McDonald led the way with 10 points and five rebounds and Naylor grabbed six boards off the bench to help USF grab a 28-18 advantage on the glass and a 22-8 edge in the paint.

Inga Orekhova made her first two 3-point attempts as USF built a 20-7 lead while Jacksonville committed nine turnovers in the first 8 minutes. Orekhova and Stringfield were up to nine points apiece at the break after USF started 41 percent from the field (16-for-39).

USF was able to cruise in the second half despite turning the ball over a season-high 21 times overall. Jacksonville (0-2) shot just 29 percent from the field (17-for-58) while the Bulls scored 34 points off the Dolphins' 26 turnovers. Sherranda Reddick was the lone Jacksonville player in double figures with a game-high 20 points.

The Bulls go for their third consecutive victory 4 p.m. Sunday at Bradley before returning to the Sun Dome to host North Carolina Central on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m.
