Lewis Finishes 15th at NCAA Championships

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., MARCH 15, 2014 – Senior Shane Lewis finished in 15th place in the triple jump on Saturday at the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
After fouling his first two attempts, the Orlando native landed his third and final jump with a distance of 49-7.25 (15.13m). By recording a mark at the NCAA's, Lewis earned second team All-American honors.
Felix Obi of Baylor took home the national championship in the event with a jump of 54-5.25 (16.59m).
The Bulls opened their outdoor season last Thursday with the USF Invitational and will host their second meet of the season, the Bulls Invitational, next Thursday at USF Track and Field Stadium. Follow the track and field team all season long on twitter @USFTrack.
