AAC Release
The junior had her best season at USF totaling a team-high 342 kills, posting a 3.11 kill/set average, and tallying 389.5 points this year.
“Dakota has been an important part of our USF volleyball program,” said Bulls' head volleyball coach Courtney Draper. “I am thrilled that our conference coaches chose her to be a part of the All-Conference team. There are not many full six rotation players in our conference, but that is what makes Dakota so valuable to USF; she has all-around game. Her serving has improved tremendously, as well as her defensive game. Dakota is an emotional leader for our team, and I think her best is still to come!”
Hampton's 0.26 service aces/set, also a team-high, were eight best in the AAC this season. Her 3.11 kills/set and 3.54 points/set came in as ninth highest. Those figures improved in conference play - her 0.29 aces/set ranked fourth as her 3.14 kills/set and 3.59 points/set placed seventh.
The USF volleyball program has reached the NCAA Tournament seven times and boasts seven conference championships. The Bulls return five starters (plus a libero) from last season's team. USF is guided by fourth year head coach Courtney Draper. Follow the volleyball team on social media (Twitter | Facebook | Instagram) and visit GoUSFBulls.com for the most up-to-date information.
