TAMPA, AUGUST 7, 2015 – Head volleyball coach Courtney Draper added a big name to her staff Wednesday, announcing former Clemson All-American Danielle Hepburn as the Bulls' new Director of Operations.
"I am thrilled to add Danielle to our staff," Draper said. "I think we had immediate chemistry with her, which is important. On top of that, she was a tremendous player and although she doesn't get to train our players, her fresh ideas will be important to our team's success."
Hepburn, a 2009 graduate of Clemson and the Tigers' career leader in blocks, block assists, blocks per set and hitting percentage, comes to USF with a strong volleyball background. After three seasons of professional volleyball overseas, Hepburn returned to Clemson as a graduate assistant, assisting with director of operations duties while helping with practice and scouting, and maintaining the Tigers' social media sites.
Hepburn will handle all day-to-day operations needs for the office, serve as the visiting team liaison, and assist with DataVolley, an in-depth stats program.
