Bulls Continue Four-Game Homestand Monday Night

TAMPA, SEPT. 14, 2015 –  USF men's soccer team continues its four-game homestand 7 p.m. Monday against North Florida at Corbett Stadium.

The Bulls (3-2) welcome an in-state foe that defeated UCF, 2-1, in overtime on Wednesday, Sept. 9. North Florida rallied to victory by scoring two goals in the final 10 minutes of play.

USF is undefeated at home this season after defeating Georgia Southern, 2-1, on Friday, Sept. 11. Protecting home field has been a staple of George Kiefer's teams during his tenure. Kiefer has led the Bulls to a 91-23-18 (.756) record at home since taking over as head coach in 2002, including a 30-game unbeaten streak that started in 2007 and carried into 2010 season.

SCOUTING NORTH FLORIDA

Team Outlook:
 The Ospreys were picked to finish second in the Atlantic Sun Preseason Poll after advancing to the conference title game last season. They also boast the A-Sun preseason goalkeeper of the year, and offensive and defensive players of the year.

Player to Watch: Helge Pietschmann (Sr.–F)
Pietschmann was voted the 2015 A-Sun Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after leading UNF with 16 points in 2014. He was also a second-team NSCAA Southeast All-Region selection for the Ospreys last season.
