Donovan Notches 17th Multi-Hit Game in Loss to Wichita State

TAMPA (May 4, 2018) – Senior Astin Donovan hit her 17th multi hit game of the season in the Bulls' loss to Wichita State. USF and the Shockers are now tied in the conference and will vie for the regular season title in games two and three this weekend.
Wichita State (30-18, 12-7) jumped ahead early with a solo home run in the second inning and added one more in the top of the fifth for a 2-0 lead.
The Bulls scattered four hits, including two by Donovan (Guilford, Conn.). Senior Lauren Evans (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) and junior Lindsey Devitt (Jacksonville, Fla.) had a hit each.
Freshman Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) fanned seven in 6.2 innings, and senior Hannah Parker (Altoona, Iowa) entered the circle for one strikeout to retire the final batter for the Shockers.
