Bulls Win Five Individual Titles at Hawkeye Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa, JAN. 26, 2019 – The USF track and field team claimed five individual titles posted three of the top 10 times in school history on Saturday at the Hawkeye Invitational.
Senior Chelsea Francis (Jacksonville) posted the second-fastest 60 meters time in school history at 7.48 seconds on her way to a second-place finish. Francis also claimed the individual title in the 200 meters with a time of 24.48.

In field events, sophomore Imani Carmouche (Mt. Zion, Ga.) won the high jump and tied the seventh-best indoor mark in school history with a height of 5-07.00. Freshman Arielle Boone (Land O' Lakes, Fla.) took the title in the triple jump with a distance of 37-08.75.

Senior Stephanie Lambeth (Frankenmuth, Mich.) won the pole vault with a height of 13-01.50, while teammates Kristin Lubeskie (Central Valley, N.Y.) and Kennedy Shank (Dillsburg, Pa.) followed in second third with identical marks of 11-05.75.

On the men's side, junior Tequon Terry (Alachua, Fla.) recorded the eighth-best long jump mark in school history with a distance of 23-02.75 en route to a third-place finish. Senior David Bell (Jacksonville) won the pole vault with a height of 17-04.50.

USF returns to action Saturday when the Bulls travel to Staten Island, N.Y., to take part in the Villanova Invitational.
