USF Softball Announces Summer Camps
TAMPA, APRIL 11, 2019 – USF Softball is set to host five different camps over the summer including Junior Bulls League, Junior Bulls All-Skills Camp, hitting, slapping and prospect.
Junior Bulls League
Junior Bulls League will run June 10, 17 and 24, and will provide an opportunity for softball players ages 7-12 to learn the game of softball and test their skills over three sessions of instruction, training and game play. The league will run 90 minutes of instruction and training before moving into 90 minutes of scrimmage. The camp costs $300 and will be capped at 30 athletes.
Junior Bulls All-Skills Camp
The Junior Bulls All Skills Camp will also be open to players ages 7-12 and will provide the opportunity to expand each player's knowledge base surrounding the game of softball. Athletes will have the opportunity to practice their skills and get top-level training form USF softball staff and players. The camp will take place on July 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. an will cost $100.
Slapper Boot Camp Two-Day Camp
Slappers at any skill level ages 8-18 can are invited to learn under the leadership of USF Volunteer Assistant Coach and former record-breaking USF athlete,
Kristen Wyckoff. Camp will cater to slappers' needs to optimize learning. The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 18 -19 and will cost $250.
Bulls Hit Club
Athletes ages 12-18 have two separate opportunities to join the Bulls hit club and learn from USF softball staff and players.
Prospect Camp
Athletes ages 13-18 can enjoy a variety of prospect camps from July 8-10 including hitting, pitching, catching and infield. Pitchers and catchers will have the opportunity to attend a two-day camp July 9-10. Athletes can sign up for hitting camps on July 8 and July 9, and the infield camp will take place on July 9.
