Bulls Fall in Run-Rule loss to Shockers
WICHITA, KAN., May 4, 2019 – Despite the Bulls already clinching at least a co-championship for the American Athletic Conference regular season title, USF (38-17, 16-4) fell in a run-rule loss to the Shockers, 10-0.
Wichita State (31-23, 12-8) hit a pair of homers in the first inning for three runs and scored five on six singles in the second inning for an 8-0 lead. The Shockers added two more with a two-RBI homer over the left field fence in the fourth inning.
Freshman
Meghan Sheehan was the Bulls' best chance. She got on base in the fourth inning when she slapped down an infield single, but she was caught stealing.
Senior
Nicole Doyle was credited with the loss (11-11). Senior

Brittany Hook each also appeared in the game.
Up Next
USF will close the regular season against the Shockers at Noon tomorrow.
