Tampa, Fla. (November 9, 2022) – The University of South Florida Bulls (9-16, 3-10 AAC) dropped their second edition of War on I-4 this season against UCF (22-1, 14-1 AAC) on Wednesday night at the Yuengling Center.
No. 24 Central Florida has won 10 straight matches, including seven in straight sets.
South Florida suffered a sweep with the Knights taking the match by set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-8.
Marta Cvitkovic (Rijeka, Croatia) paced the Bulls with six kills, followed by Makayla Washington (Tallahassee, Fla.) and Amanda DeWitt (Jupiter, Fla.) with five and four kills, respectively.
Barnhart also led the Bulls with two total blocks along with Cvitkovic and Yasmin Shaw (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) who contributed with a one block each.
Cvitkovic, Kelsey O'Loughlin (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Tatiana Johnson (Frederick, Md.) all claimed a single service ace. Johnson and O'Loughlin also contributed with nine assists apiece.
Maria Clara Andrade (São Paulo, Brazil) led the back row with eight total digs, followed by CC Clausen (The Woodlands, Texas) with five digs.
