USF Softball Returns Home for Weekend Tournament
TAMPA, Feb. 24, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team returns back to the USF Softball Stadium after a successful weekend at the talent-filled St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational. The Bulls entered the rankings as high as No. 19 but sit at No. 25 in both the NFCA and USA Softball coaches' polls.

The Bulls went 3-1 at the Elite Invite and sit at 6-2 on the season.
Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) has won both AAC Pitcher of the Week Awards so far this season, boasting a 5-0 record with a 0.21 ERA in 34 innings in the circle while striking out 50.

Josie Foreman (West Palm Beach, Fla.) was named to the conference's weekly honor roll, sitting with a team-high .438 average in 16 at-bats this year while adding six RBIs to her totals.
Megan Pierro (Lutz, Fla.),
Alexis Johns (Sarasota, Fla.) and
Meghan Sheehan (Forest Hill, Md.) all have batting averages over .300 heading into the season's third week.
