The Bulls battle tough course and weather conditions earlier this week in Dallas, but still emerged with a fourth-place team finish. Sophomore Melanie Green led USF and tallied her first collegiate win at the tournament. Green was one of only two players in the entire field to shoot par or better. She also earned American Women's Golfer of the Week honors for her standout performance.
The 16-team field at the Valspar Augusta Invitational includes: USF, Augusta, Alabama, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Furman, Georgia Southern, Memphis, Miami, Minnesota, Purdue, Ole Miss, San Diego State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, and conclude the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday with 9 a.m. tee times. Tee times and pairing will be released soon
