USF Returns Home for Weekend Tournament

TAMPA, March 3, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team returns home after its first road trip of the season for a weekend invitational against UIC, Florida A&M and Army.
 
The Bulls are coming off a doubleheader sweep against Florida Gulf Coast in its last outing. Records fell in game one, with the Bulls breaking three single-game or career bests during the game. Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) broke the career shutouts record, tossing her 38th, while she also threw 19 strikeouts for the new single-game record. Josie Foreman (West Palm Beach, Fla.) also tallied 21 putouts for the new single-game record. USF would ultimately win, 5-0, in 11 innings, while taking game two, 6-3, in regulation.
