TULSA, Okla., April 23, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team fell, 8-0, to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday to even the weekend series at 1-1.

Tulsa put up five in the first inning off a wild pitch, three-run home run and sacrifice fly.

The Golden Hurricane added to their lead in the third, with a two-run home run to left field to make it 7-0.

Tulsa put up its game-clinching eighth run in the fourth as a runner crossed on a fielder's choice.

Notables
- Alexis Johns (Sarasota, Fla.) walked twice in the game and stole a base.
- Georgina Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) earned her first start of the year at first base.
- Alanah Rivera (St. Petersburg, Fla.) hit her ninth double of the season. Â
