CINCINNATI, Ohio (February 10, 2023) – The University of South Florida Bulls embark on their final two-game road stretch of the season beginning on Saturday at Cincinnati. South Florida will then travel to Tulsa on Wednesday, February 15. USF has just four total road games remaining on its regular season slate.

The Bulls will look to tally their third straight road win over the Bearcats in Cincinnati on Saturday night.

USF claimed a 74-71 victory in Cincinnati on December 16, 2020 and defeated the Bearcats again on their home court last season with a 56-54 buzzer-beater.

The Bulls are coming off a 99-81 loss to Memphis in Tampa on Wednesday where former Tiger Tyler Harris set a new American Athletic Conference record for career three-pointers (267). Harris poured in 28 points in the setback against his former team for his eighth 20-point game of the season.

Harris now has his sights set on the USF single-season record for three-pointers (88) and will need 15 more triples to set the new high-water mark.

Russel Tchewa tallied his third straight double-double in the loss to Memphis and has six total over his last 12 games. He ranks third in the AAC in rebounding (8.1) and fourth in shooting percentage (60%).

USF is 2-3 over its last five outings, including a 79-76 overtime loss at Temple and an 82-80 setback at SMU.

Cincinnati is 12-3 at home this season and has won two straight on its home court. The Bearcats are also 2-3 over their last five games, including a 101-94 overtime loss at Tulane last time out.

David DeJulius and Landers Nolley II each scored 21 points against the Bulls in Tampa earlier this season in an 85-69 Bearcat win. Viktor Lahkin (12.5 ppg) sustained an injury in Cincinnati's last game and his status is unknown for Saturday.

Selton Miguel (15 points), Harris (10) and Keyshawn Bryant (10) paced the USF offense in the last meeting against the Bearcats.

Gregory spent nearly a decade as an assistant coach under Michigan State's Hall of Fame head coach Tom Izzo and helped the Spartans win the 2000 NCAA National Championship. Gregory owns over 300 career head coaching wins and six postseason appearances, including the 2010 NIT Championship with Dayton. In his second season at the helm of the Bulls, Gregory led the team to the best win turnaround in the NCAA, the most single-season wins in school history and the 2019 College Basketball Invitational championship.
