The USF men's golf team, trailing by 10 shots going into the final round, saw a 20-shot turnaround to outdistance the field of 18 at the Ross Collegiate Classic by 10 strokes. Consistency was the key as the Bulls shot three rounds of 283 for a total of 849, their second lowest score of the season.

The victory marked the 21^st tournament win under head coach Steve Bradley, a program record, and the 51^st top five finish under the ninth-year head coach.

Leading the way for the Bulls was sophomore Jake Peacock who shot 9-under par 207 on the way to a third-place finish. In the final round, Peacock fired a six-under 66, which included an eagle, to equal his lowest career score and his best performance as a Bull since transferring from Western Carolina.

Just behind Peacock, sophomore Shubham Jaglan carded a 5-under par 211 to finish fourth. Jaglan had an eagle en route to shooting a 69 in round one. His fourth-place finish gives him his second top 10 of the season.

Junior Sam Nicholson notched his second top-10 finish of the season, shooting 2-under par 214 to finish tied for seventh. With a final round of 71, Nicholson moved up 10 spots on the leaderboard.

In the third round, freshman Nino Palmquist improved nine spots on the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 14^th, his best finish as a Bull. His total of one-over par 217 is also a season and career best.
Sophomore Chase Gullikson rounded out the effort for the Bulls, shooting rounds of 75, 73 and 76 to finish in a tie for 42nd at 4-over 224.

Hopefully now they will believe in themselves as much as Coach Caldwell and I believe in them already. Winning is never easy and we are so happy for them."

• The Bulls led the field in scoring average on the par 5's at 4.33 and played the par 5's at -40 for the tournament.
• USF was tied for the lead with five eagles in the tournament.
• With 55 birdies, the Bulls had the second highest total.

The Bulls return to action at the Linger Longer Invitational March 19-21. The event is hosted by Kennesaw State and will be played at Great Waters CC in Lake Oconee, GA

The USF men's golf program has captured 17 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won five American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four-consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn nine straight NCAA Regional appearances, including a 6^th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015.
