TAMPA (April 10, 2023) – The University of South Florida Bulls conclude a five-game homestand on Tuesday, April 11 against Bethune-Cookman at 6 p.m. The tilt will also wrap up an 18-game stretch (13 at home) of contests played in the Sunshine State.
South Florida defeated Bethune-Cookman two weeks ago in Daytona Beach, 9-3. Lawson Gailey picked up his first collegiate win in that start. The right-hander allowed one run on three hits with two walks and three strikeouts over 5.0 IP. Gailey has only given up one earned run in each of his last five appearances. Over his last four midweek starts, the freshman owns a 2.20 ERA (4 ER/16.1 IP).
