December 13, 2024

TAMPA, Fla. (December 13, 2024) – The University of South Florida men's basketball team returns to the road for another matchup with an undefeated team at Utah State. The Bulls (5-4) and the Aggies (9-0) are scheduled for a 4 p.m. ET tip on the Mountain West Network.

JR's 20+ Points, Four+ Assists
Jayden Reid has recorded at least 20 points, four assists, and a 65.0 field-goal percentage in back-to-back games. The only other USF player in the last 25 seasons to reach those marks in consecutive games was Dominique Jones from December 1-5, 2007.

Reynolds Double Wrap
Jamille Reynolds already has three double-doubles through his first eight career games with South Florida. The only other USF players in the last 25 years to have that many, though eight games at USF, are Alexis Yetna (three), Kentrell Gransberry (four), and B.B. Waldon (three).

Stroud's Stout Defense
Brandon Stroud has recorded multiple steals and one or fewer turnovers in four straight games. That is tied for the longest streak by a USF player in the last 25 seasons, along with Corey Walker Jr. (February 2022) and Anthony Crater (January-February 2010).

29 Straight Games
USF has gone 29 consecutive games with at least 25 rebounds and 10 assists, which is the sixth-longest streak in Division I. The last time the Bulls had a longer streak was 58 straight games between November 28, 2000, and March 6, 2002.

Games Decided by Two Points or Fewer
South Florida's last three games have been decided by two points or fewer, its longest such streak since December 2013 (also three). The Bulls have never had four consecutive games be decided by two points or less in program history.

Frees and 3s
The Bulls have recorded at least five made 3-pointers and 10 made free throws in all nine games this season, their second-longest streak to start a campaign in the past 25 years (12 to start 2012-13). USF is one of 15 Division I teams to reach those marks in every single game in 2024-25.
