USF Men’s Basketball Welcomes Webber International for Final Non-Conference Game

TAMPA, Fla. (December 27, 2024) – The University of South Florida men's basketball team is back inside the Yuengling Center on Saturday for a contest with Webber International. The Bulls (6-6) and the Warriors (3-9) are slated for a 3 p.m. jump on ESPN+.

Jamille Reynolds is just one of five USF players to record 100 points and 75 rebounds in their first 10 career starts since 1996. In 10 games this season, he has 107 points and 76 rebounds. He joins Alexis Yetna (122, 106), Tulio Da Silva (106, 77), Kentrell Gransberry (138, 107), and B.B. Waldon (194, 85).
 
JR's Dishing Out Assists
Jayden Reid had his second career game with at least 10 points and 10 assists against East Texas A&M. The only other USF underclassman to have multiple such games over the last 25 years was Anthony Collins (four).
 
Kobe Going Off
Kobe Knox made five threes and had zero turnovers off the bench versus East Texas A&M. The only other USF players to reach those marks in the same game off the bench this century are Serrel Smith Jr. on December 29, 2022, and Shaun Noriega on February 12, 2011.
 
Stroud's Career Stat Line
Brandon Stroud has reached 250 points, 250 rebounds, and 50 steals in his USF career in 43 games. The last player to reach those USF career milestones in fewer games was McHugh Mattis in 38 games from 2005 to 2006.

Against East Texas A&M, South Florida shot 60.7 percent from the field and 87.5 percent from the foul line in its win against the Lions. That was the first time in the last 25 seasons that the Bulls recorded at least a 60.0 field-goal percentage and 80.0 free-throw percentage in the same game.
