USF Women’s Tennis opens four-match homestand on Saturday

The Bulls host UNF on Saturday, February 3 to begin the homestand.

TAMPA (February 1, 2024) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team returns home on Saturday, February 3 for the first of four straight matches at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
South Florida (1-2) will host North Florida (3-1) on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Following that match, the Bulls welcome Stetson on Wednesday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m., FAU on Friday, February 9 at 12 p.m. and North Texas on Sunday, February 11 at 11 a.m.

USF opened its spring slate with a 7-0 victory at home against FGCU. The Bulls were on the road last weekend for the ITA Kickoff where they faced stiff competition against No. 4 Georgia and Arizona.

UNF opened the spring with a 5-2 win over Incarnate Word and followed it up with a 6-1 victory over Texas State. The Ospreys fell to Georgia Southern in late January, 5-2, and are most recently coming off a 4-3 win against Elon.

Head coach Cristina Moros, a former collegiate national champion and four-time All-American, is in her ninth year at the helm entering the 2023-24 season. She was named the 2017 AAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bulls to the conference championship that season.
