No. 63 USF Women’s Tennis wraps homestand with three matches, Senior Day on Saturday

The Bulls host ETSU on Tuesday, March 12, Cleveland State on Wednesday, March 13 and Yale on Saturday, March 16.

TAMPA (February 23, 2024) – The No. 63-ranked University of South Florida women's tennis team will conclude its nearly month-long homestand with three matches this week. The Bulls host ETSU on Tuesday, March 12 at 10:30 a.m., Cleveland State on Wednesday, March 13 at 12 p.m. and No. 31 Yale on Saturday, March 16 at 12 p.m.

The eight-match homestand will conclude with Senior Day on Saturday, March 16 and celebrate Nadja Bay Christians, Marta Falceto Font and Grace Schumacher.

South Florida enters the final stretch of the homestand riding a four-match winning streak, including wins over No. 74 Michigan State and No. 54 VCU. The Bulls enter the week with an 8-2 record at home this season.

ETSU comes to Tampa with a 7-5 record and Cleveland State with a 6-7 mark. No. 40 Yale (10-3) will play matches at FIU (March 12) and Florida Atlantic (March 14) before arriving in Tampa to take on the Bulls.

Following the end of the homestand, the Bulls will play a pair of matches in Charlotte, N.C. on March 23-24 against SMU and Charlotte, respectively, then head to Miami to take on Rice (April 6) and FIU (April 7) to conclude the regular season. The AAC Championship will follow on April 17-21 in Dallas, Texas.

Head coach Cristina Moros, a former collegiate national champion and four-time All-American, is in her ninth year at the helm entering the 2023-24 season. She was named the 2017 AAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bulls to the conference championship that season.
