TAMPA (March 22, 2024) – The University of South Florida Bull open American Athletic Conference play against the Memphis Tigers in Tampa on March 22-24. South Florida is playing out a string of five games in six days this week and is in the midst of playing 12 games in 16 days from March 15-30.

The Bulls are coming off a 9-6 win over FAMU on Wednesday night after dropping a 3-2 decision on a ninth inning walk-off single at FGCU on Tuesday.

Following this weekend's games against Memphis, USF will travel to Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday, March 26 before heading to Charlotte for a three-game series on March 28-30.

Drew Brutcher enters the weekend ranked third in the NCAA in walks (27) and leads the Bulls with a .531 OBP. Brutcher, who ranks sixth all-time in program history for home runs (36), is seven walks away from tying for 10th on the career list for free passes.

Jackson Mayo enters the weekend riding an 11-game hitting streak and has hit safely in 18 of the last 20 games. John Montes has a team-best .389 batting average to go along with a team-leading nine doubles.

The Bulls have collectively stolen 44 bases this season which has already surpassed the team's 2023 total of 39 stolen bases.

On the mound, the Bulls will run out their familiar Friday and Saturday starters, Hunter Mink and Jack Cebert, while two-sport start Bryce Archie will get his second straight nod on Sunday afternoon.
