Schumacher named to AAC Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team for fourth time

Grace Schumacher finishes her career as a four-time All-AAC recipient.

IRVING, Texas (May 1, 2024) – The American Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday its 2024 All-Conference Team which tabbed the University of South Florida's Grace Schumacher for the fourth time in her standout career.

A four-year member of the South Florida women's tennis program, Schumacher earned All-AAC honors each season.

The senior moved onto Court 1 full-time in singles play in 2024 and posted a 12-9 record. She was named the AAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week on March 12, 2024, and was a catalyst in propelling USF to an ITA national ranking for the final two months of the season.

A native of Bathurst, Australia, Schumacher had the privilege of being selected to represent her home country in the World University Tennis Championships during the fall.

In her career as a Bull, Schumacher tallied over 75 wins between singles and doubles play. Schumacher posted at least 10 wins each season on her respective singles court.

Head coach Cristina Moros, a former collegiate national champion and four-time All-American, is in her ninth year at the helm entering the 2023-24 season. She was named the 2017 AAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bulls to the conference championship that season.
