Michele Woods-Baxter and the University of South Florida women's basketball team announced the additions of Serenity Hardy and Brooklyn Hall to the 2026 signing class.
"This class brings an exciting mix of talent, versatility, and competitiveness," said Coach Woods-Baxter. "Each of these young women has proven they can impact the game in multiple ways, and they both share a drive to win. We're thrilled to welcome them to the Bulls family."
Serenity Hardy
Lakeland, Fla. | Winter Haven High School | Shooting Guard
Hardy is the No. 1-ranked shooting guard in Florida and is No. 13 overall in the state according to Prep Girls Hoops. Hardy, one of Florida's premier prospects, joins South Florida from Winter Haven High School. She is a dynamic three-level scorer and proven winner. Hardy is ranked No. 107 nationally by All-Star Girls Report (ASGR) with a 94 rating and is recognized by Prep Girls Hoops as one of the top shooting guards in the state of Florida.
"Serenity is an explosive guard with the ability to score at all three levels," said Coach Woods-Baxter. "She plays with confidence, competes on both ends, and has a great feel for the game. She's a proven winner and someone who will make an immediate impact in our program."
Hardy recently led Winter Haven High School to the 2024 Florida State Championship, the sixth in program history, while earning The Ledger's 2025 Girls Basketball Player of the Year honors.
As a junior, she averaged 19.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 2.8 steals per game, following a stellar sophomore campaign in which she averaged 21.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 3.1 steals per game. Hardy knocked down 84 three-pointers in 2023–24 — ranking among the Top 160 nationally — and hit 128 free throws to finish in the Top 250 in the country.
Brooklyn Hall
Dayton, Ohio | Wing
Hall is the No. 2 Forward in the state of Ohio and the No. 5 player overall according to Prep Girls Hoops. She is a consensus four-star recruit according to ESPN, is ranked No. 64 nationally in the All-Star Girls Report (ASGR) Top 350 with a 95 rating, and carries a 91-scout grade from ESPN. Recognized among Ohio's top prospects by Prep Girls Hoops, Hall brings a rare blend of size, skill, and versatility to the Bulls' frontcourt.
"Brooklyn is a dynamic, skilled wing who can play inside or out," said Head Coach Woods-Baxter. "She has great instincts, rebounds with purpose, and shoots the ball at a high level. Her versatility and competitiveness make her a perfect fit for our system."
Hall starred for Western Reserve Academy during the 2024–25 season, averaging 18.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. She also led the state of Ohio in free throws made (156) — ranking No. 1 in Ohio and No. 71 nationally.
Her well-rounded game and leadership helped establish Western Reserve Academy as one of the most competitive programs in the region. At the same time, she continued to rise in national rankings as one of the most complete forwards in the Class of 2026.
