TAMPA, Fla., November 14, 2025 – The University of South Florida women's basketball team (2-1) is set to close out the 2025 WBCA Challenge on Saturday evening with a matchup against No. 3 UCLA (4-0). Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET at Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.
Setting the Stage
USF enters the final day of the tournament looking to rebound and finish strong. The Bulls opened the WBCA Challenge on Thursday against Fairfield and now turn their attention to one of the nation's elite programs.
UCLA comes into Saturday's contest undefeated at 4-0 after defeating North Carolina, 78–60, on Thursday night. The Bruins, a Final Four team last season, ranked No. 3 nationally and continue to build momentum to start the year.
The Opponents
UCLA has opened the season with dominant play on both ends of the floor, highlighted by last night's 18-point win over UNC. Behind strong guard play, a deep rotation, and postseason experience, the Bruins present the Bulls with their toughest test of the early season.
