Stillwater, Okla., Nov. 19, 2025 – The University of South Florida men's basketball team fell to Oklahoma State, 103–95 , on Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena. South Florida has recorded at least 95 points and 35 rebounds in all five games this season, setting the NCAA record since 1996–97, for most consecutive games to begin a season with those marks.
Through the past five games, the Bulls have scored 498 total points - the most over any five-game span in program history. South Florida also has four players averaging at least 13 points and one steal per game, tied for the most in Division I, and the Bulls have never finished with even three such players in a season this century.
CJ Brown led the Bulls with 24 points and 10 assists, recording his first double-double of the season and the team's first points–assists double-double this year.
Joseph Pinion contributed 20 points and knocked down six three-pointers (tying his career-high),
Wes Enis added 20 points and five rebounds, and
Isaiah Jones scored 14 points, giving South Florida four players in double figures.
South Florida kept their pace of play at their usual up-tempo speed in the opening half, using seven steals and strong ball movement to create scoring opportunities. The Bulls hit seven three-pointers, with contributions from Pinion, Enis, and Jones helping keep the game close throughout the period. USF entered halftime up 45–44.
In the second half, South Florida continued to generate offense inside, finishing with 30 points in the paint while pushing the tempo for 20 fast-break points. The Bulls also added 13 second-chance points, staying aggressive around the rim and creating extra possessions throughout the half.
South Florida's defense remained aggressive, converting turnovers into 23 points and keeping the pressure on Oklahoma State. The Bulls' bench contributed 37 points, showcasing the team's depth and balanced scoring. With eight lead changes and the game staying within reach late, South Florida battled until the end before Oklahoma State narrowly pulled ahead.
Despite the loss, the Bulls continue to build on an impressive start to the season.

- First Double-Double– CJ Brown recorded his first double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 assists, also marking USF's first points–assists double-double this year.
- Double-Digit Depth – Four players reached double digits: CJ Brown, Joseph Pinion, Wes Enis, and Isaiah Jones.
- Historic Start – USF has recorded at least 95 points and 35 rebounds in all five games this season, the NCAA record for most consecutive games to begin a season with those marks since 1996–97.
- Elite Start - Heading into this game, Izaiyah Nelson had totaled 62 points, 41 rebounds, eight blocks, six steals, and was shooting 88.9% from the free-throw line through four games, unmatched by any Division I player in the last 30 seasons.
- Scoring Streak - Joseph Pinion has scored 20+ more points for the third straight game.

South Florida men's basketball named Bryan Hodgson, 37, as the program's 12th head coach on March 24, 2025. Hodgson came to Tampa from Arkansas State, where he led the program to back-to-back 20-win seasons and its first postseason appearance since 1999 in his two seasons at the helm.
