Woods-Baxter Era Begins as Bulls Host FIU in Season Opener

TAMPA, Fla., November 2, 2025 – The Michele Woods-Baxter era of South Florida women's basketball officially tips off Monday night when the Bulls host Florida International at the Yuengling Center for the 2025–26 season opener.
 

USF owns eight consecutive wins over FIU dating back to the 2004 season. The last meeting between the programs came on Dec. 17, 2017, when the Bulls earned an 82–52 road victory. The last home matchup took place on Nov. 30, 2016, during the 2016–17 season, with USF claiming a 91–41 win — the largest margin of victory in the series.

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN+ and can be heard locally on Bulls Unlimited.
