"We are so excited to have Gabby join our Bulls family! She is a dynamic guard and a proven scorer who can really impact the game with her confidence and toughness," Curry said. "Gabby has put together an outstanding start to her college career, earning MAAC All-Rookie honors and showing the ability to score in volume at a high level. Kennerly finished with 20 points and a career-high eight rebounds in her collegiate debut at South Florida. She followed that performance with a season-high 25 points and three steals against FDU. The guard recorded 12 points and a career-high nine steals at Siena.

Kennerly missed the 2023-24 season because of injury.

In high school, Kennerly was named the Howard County Player of the Year for 2022 and 2023 at Howard High School. She earned Maryland All-State honors and was a First Team selection from both the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post. In her senior season, the Howard Lions posted a 26-1 record and went undefeated in league play.
