
USF Volleyball Falls to Wichita State at Home

This is South Florida’s first loss in the Corral this season.
TAMPA, (Nov. 2, 2025) – The University of South Florida volleyball team lost to Wichita State Sunday afternoon 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-19). The Bulls fall to 14-9 overall and 10-2 in the American Conference.
Maria Clara Andrade led USF with 12 kills while hitting .310, also contributing five digs and a block. Arianna Beckham followed with eight kills and three blocks, while Laila Ivey added seven kills and two blocks. Setter Raegan Richardson dished out 24 assists to go with four digs and three aces, and libero Samiha Foster led the defense with 10 digs.
Despite steady offensive efforts from Andrade and Beckham, the Bulls struggled to find rhythm against the Shockers' efficient attack. Wichita State hit .363 as a team and held USF to .185, using strong blocking and consistent setting to control the tempo throughout the afternoon.
Notables
South Florida will go on the road to Birmingham, AL, to face the UAB Blazers. The first serve is set for 8 p.m. ET and will be streamed on ESPN+.
