USF Men’s Soccer Jahiem Wickham Named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year; Four Other Bulls Earn Conference Honors

Fabio Bozesan, Pedro Faife, Jahiem Wickham, Brandon Nyagurungo, and Nicolas Pietrantonio recognized for standout play

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 6, 2025 – The American Conference announced its men's soccer regular season honors, with multiple Bulls earning recognition for their outstanding performances during the 2025 regular season.
 
University of South Florida junior goalkeeper Jahiem Wickham was named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and selected to the Second Team All-Conference. Graduate forward Fabio Bozesan and junior midfielder Pedro Faife were named First Team All-Conference, and Wickham and senior forward Brandon Nyagurungo earned Second Team All-Conference. Freshman defender Nicolas Pietrantonio was named to the All-Freshman Team, rounding out a strong showing of postseason accolades for the Bulls.
 
Wickham led the American Conference in saves, totaling 54 across 16 matches for an average of 3.38 per game. His consistency, leadership, and poise in goal were critical to South Florida's defensive success.
 
Bozesan led the conference in points with 21 (8 goals, 5 assists, 1.31 per game) and tied first for total goals. His offensive play and ability to create scoring opportunities made him a key contributor for the Bulls throughout the season.
 
Faife played a key role in the Bulls' midfield by controlling possession and creating scoring opportunities throughout the season, highlighted by a multi-point performance (one goal and one assist) vs FGCU.

Nyagurungo scored 4 goals in the last 3 games, adding veteran leadership and timely scoring that helped clinch the No. 3 seed and give the Bulls momentum heading into the postseason.'

Pietrantonio made an immediate impact as a freshman, showcasing strong defensive awareness and adaptability on the back line.
 
South Florida's collective recognition highlights the program's balance of veteran leadership and emerging talent as the Bulls turn their focus to the American Conference Championship. The Bulls will host No. 6 seed Tulsa in the opening round of the playoffs on Friday, Nov. 7, at Corbett Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with live coverage available on ESPN+.

USF Men's Soccer competed in the school's first-ever intercollegiate athletic contest on Sept. 25, 1965, beating Florida Southern 4-3.
