Tampa, Fla. (March 4, 2025)- The University of South Florida men's tennis team (9-3) returns to play at home on Thursday, March 6. The Bulls will face off against University of North Carolina Wilmington (3-5) and Furman (5-6).

The Bulls are coming off a trio of matches this weekend resulting in a split score of 2-1. The Bulls will be hosting teams on their home court for the third time this season and currently hold a
2-1 record at home for the 2025 season.

South Florida will face off against UNCW fin the morning for the 11
th time in match-up history. The Bulls are 7-3 against the Seahawks and clinched a 4-3 win in their last match-up which was also hosted by the Bulls. South Florida will then continue to play the Furman paladins in the afternoon. The Bulls are 3-0 against the paladins with their last match-up also being at home back in 2022.

The Bulls have climbed significantly since their last home match, earning six wins in the few weeks away. The Bulls have also been awarded with two AAC Men's Tennis Players of the Week;
Agustin Cuellar and
Hugo Car. The Bulls, in the latest rankings, have bounced up to No. 36 in the nation, while Car sits at No. 80 in singles.

Ashley Fisher is in his eighth year at the helm of the program for the 2023-24 season. Fischer has guided the Bulls to four NCAA Tournaments, including three trips to the second round. He was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2017 & 2019 after leading USF to the conference title in each of those seasons.
