Lefthander Corey Braun, who has been the Bulls' regular Friday night starter so far on the season, will again take the mound to get things started on Friday. Braun comes in 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA. Righthander Jack Nedrow, who has four appearances and one start on the year, will take the ball for Saturday's game. He comes in 2-1 on the year with a 3.86 ERA and his 11.2 innings pitched are second on the team to Braun's 17.1. The Bulls will send Bryce Archie to the mound on Sunday. Archie has been impressive in a pair of mid-week starts this year and has recorded 10 strikeouts in his 6.0 innings pitched with a strong 1.50 ERA.

Series History:
USF and Villanova have played 21 times, with the Bulls holding a 13-8 edge. The first meeting was March 23, 1975, a 20-3 Bulls win in Tampa. The series includes 18 games from 2007-2012 when the teams were both members of the Big East. USF won 10 of those contests. The Bulls have won all three non-conference games, which includes the last game, 8-1 in Tampa March 8, 2017.
