Belle Sardja collected her second AAC Pitcher of the Week accolade for 2025

April 14, 2025

IRVING, Texas, April 14, 2025 – Belle Sardja produced a stellar statline inside the circle for the University of South Florida softball team last week. This led to her being named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Alanah Rivera earned a spot on the AAC Honor Roll.

Sardja, the right-handed senior, was dominant in the circle for the Bulls as she earned her second AAC Pitcher of the Week honor. She recorded two saves and picked up a win. She struck out nine batters in her 11.0 innings of work with only one walk. She surrendered one earned run and scattered seven hits. She held opponents to a .179 batting average. She has moved into a tie for second place in the USF single-season top 10 save list. Her 13 career saves are fourth in program history.

The graduate infielder, Rivera, produced a strong week at the plate for USF on her way to her second honor roll accolade. She went 5-for-10 across the three games. She scored three times and did not strike out. She blasted her sixth home run of the season in game three of the series. Defensively, she recorded a perfect fielding percentage, 1.000, with seven assists and two putouts.
