TAMPA, Fla., May 4, 2025 – Anne Long tossed a complete game for the University of South Florida softball team in its final regular-season game against UTSA on Sunday. The Roadrunners tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the second inning. UTSA plated two runs on one hit, aided by a USF error.

With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the second, A. Wilkes launched the 2-2 pitch over the left-center field wall for a grand slam. The Bulls led 6-2 after two innings.
In the bottom of the third inning, J. Wilkes delivered a two-RBI single down the third base line. Elliott drove in a run with a fielder's choice as Garcia-Soto slid around the tag at the plate. Karhys Pierce extended the USF lead to 10-2 with an RBI single to right field. Long closed the game without allowing another UTSA run as USF claimed a 10-2 victory.
