TAMPA, Fla., June 24, 2025 –University of South Florida men's basketball players Tristan Beckford, Onyx Nnani, and Adriel Nyorha have been named to Canada's final 12-player roster for the FIBA U19 Men's Basketball World Cup 2025, Canada Basketball announced this week.

The freshman trio will represent Canada on the international stage when the team travels to Lausanne, Switzerland, for the prestigious tournament, set for June 28 to July 6. South Florida is the only team in the NCAA with three players in this international tournament.

Beckford, a guard from Maple, Ontario, Nnani, a forward from Edmonton, Alberta, and Nyorha, a guard from Ottawa, Ontario, earned their spots on the national team following a competitive training camp held June 15–19 at Humber College in Toronto and a series of tune-up games in France.

"This is an incredible honor for Tristan, Onyx, and Adriel, and we couldn't be more proud of them," said Bulls Head Coach Bryan Hodgson. "Representing your country on a global stage is one of the highest honors in our sport. This is a testament to their character, work ethic, and the potential they bring to USF Basketball."

Canada will be led by head coach Ramón Díaz, who guided the country to a bronze medal at the 2024 FIBA U18 Men's AmeriCup. The Canadians will be aiming to build on their international success as they compete against the world's best young talent.
