TAMPA, Fla., July 28, 2025 – Head Coach
Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team will head south to Puerto Rico for 10 days beginning on Thursday, July 31. South Florida will play five games against the Puerto Rico National Team.
"We are excited as a program to represent USF and the Tampa Bay Area on our summer tour to the island of Puerto Rico," said Coach Eriksen. "This trip will provide us with the opportunities to bond together as a team while competing against the Puerto Rican National Team as they prepare for a championship in China. Our games against Team Puerto Rico will be in Salinas, San Lorenzo, and San Juan. Between games, our team will provide softball clinics for young women in the Salinas area and Mayagüez. Outside of the field, our student-athletes will have the opportunity to learn about the island's culture and enjoy some downtime at the local beaches. We are fortunate to be able to take advantage of this cultural experience thanks to the generous donors who support our program. Thank you to all who have provided for USF Softball!"
