USF Women’s Soccer’s Gaby Rourke Named the American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week

Gentiana Fetaj and Yui Suetsugu earned spots on the weekly honorable mention list

IRVING, Texas (September 22, 2025) – The American Conference announced its weekly accolades on Monday. Gaby Rourke represented the University of South Florida women's soccer team as the American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week. Gentiana Fetaj and Yui Suetsugu both earned spots on the weekly honorable mention list.
 
Rourke played all 90 minutes in goal for South Florida in its 1-0 victory against East Carolina. She picked up her first career clean sheet. She stopped the two shots that were on target.
 
Suetsugu scored her first goal at USF with the match-winner against ECU in the 10th minute. Fetaj dished out the assist on the match-winning goal as the Bulls extended their winning streak to five matches.

Chris Brown enters his second season as USF head coach after a record-setting debut in 2024, leading the Bulls to 12 wins and coaching both the American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year. Brown spent 17 years as associate head coach (2007–2023), helping USF to three American Athletic Conference titles, eight NCAA appearances, and a 10-year streak of 10+ win seasons. He coached USF's first All-American, Evelyne Viens, now a Hall of Famer and Olympic gold medalist, and has developed multiple American Athletic Conference award winners. Players under his guidance hold most of the program's records.
