USF Softball Announces its 2025 Fall Ball Schedule

September 30, 2025

TAMPA, Fla. (September 30, 2025) – Head Coach Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team announced its 2025 fall ball schedule on Tuesday. The Bulls will play six games inside the USF Softball Stadium.

South Florida will give back to the community during all six home games. While admission is free for all the games, fans will have the opportunity to make donations to various charitable causes. Concessions will also be available at all fall games.

"We are extremely excited about the opportunities our fall schedule presents, besides the competition from our opponents," said Coach Eriksen. "We will be utilizing the games to raise awareness for some very important societal causes to help our local communities. The games will give our student-athletes a great feeling of purpose, and what better way than to give back. The nice part for our softball fans is that the concession stand will be open throughout all our home games! Hopefully, we will continue to break attendance records and raise some donation levels for these great causes."

The Bulls open the fall on the road against the Jacksonville Dolphins on Saturday, October 11. The first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.

On Friday, October 17, South Florida hosts St. Leo at 6 p.m. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to donate to breast cancer research. A specific cause will be announced later.

The Bulls' final road game of the fall will be on Wednesday, October 29. South Florida makes the trip to Gainesville for a matchup with Florida. The first pitch is slated for 6 p.m.

On Friday, October 31, USF will feature The Spring, a shelter for women that protects survivors of domestic violence. South Florida faces a crosstown foe in Tampa at 6 p.m.

Metropolitan Ministries will be the designated charity for Sunday, November 2. The Bulls take on the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at 2 p.m.

South Florida will play Florida Southwestern College on Friday, November 7, at 6 p.m. Fans will be able to donate to the Shriners Children's Hospital.

On Sunday, November 9, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be the charitable cause. South Florida takes on Eckerd College at 2 p.m.

USF closes out the fall schedule with the "33" game. The Bulls will continue to honor the legacy of Alexis Buchman. She inspired the Tampa Bay community during her more than two-year battle with brain cancer. Fans will be able to donate to the Alexis Buchman Foundation for Brain Cancer Research. South Florida will play Florida Southern at 6:30 p.m. More details about the "33" game will be released later.
