TAMPA, Fla. (January 14, 2026) – Head Coach
Ken Eriksen and the University of South Florida softball team announced the 2026 schedule on Wednesday. The Bulls' 2026 campaign will feature 32 home games.
The defending American Conference Tournament Champions open the 2026 season at home. The Bulls begin the season with the USF Rawlings Invitational on February 5-8. South Florida will face Bethune-Cookman, Illinois State, Michigan, Kansas, and Florida. The Gators reached the Women's College World Series last season, and the Wolverines played in the NCAA Tournament.
The Delaware Blue Hens make the trip to Tampa for a doubleheader on February 10.
USF will host The Fonseca Memorial Tournament on February 12-15. South Florida welcomes Indiana State, Kansas, Yale, Boston College, and DePaul.
The Stetson Hatters make the short trek to the USF Softball Stadium for a midweek doubleheader on February 18.
The Bulls host their final tournament on February 19-23. South Florida will be joined by St. Joe's (Pa.), Marist, Boston College, Colgate, and Indiana. Indiana and Marist both made an NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Bulls will hit the road for the first time of the season for the 2026 T-Mobile Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama. South Florida will play Kent State, Alabama, and St. Thomas (Minn.).
The Bulls remain on the road for the American Conference opener against the Memphis Tigers on March 6-8.
South Florida will host Charlotte on March 13-15 for the conference home opener.
USF will hit the road for a midweek matchup with FGCU on March 18. South Florida will stay on the road for a conference series with Tulsa on March 20-22.
South Florida and Wichita State will clash in Tampa on March 27-29. The Sunday game against the Shockers will be televised on ESPNU.
USF travels to Texas for a conference series with UTSA on April 2-4. South Florida will face Florida in a midweek contest on April 8.
South Florida will host Florida Atlantic for a pivotal series on April 10-12. FAU earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
The Bulls are back on the road for a series with East Carolina on April 17-19. USF will have a home game against FGCU on April 22, before hitting the road for the final conference road series. USF's final conference road series will be with UAB on April 24-26.
South Florida closes the 2026 regular season with a series at home against North Texas on April 30 through May 2. The 2026 American Conference Tournament will be at East Carolina on May 6-9. NCAA Regionals will take place on May 15-17.

Under head coach Ken Eriksen, who enters his 29th season in 2026 and has accumulated 1,171 wins, ranking seventh among active DI head softball coaches, USF has produced 10 NFCA All-Americans, two USA Softball Top 10 Players of the Year, and one NFCA Pitcher of the Year. In 2022, Georgina Corrick became the first player in softball history to earn the NCAA Pitching Triple Crown. She led the nation in ERA (0.51), Victories (37), and total strikeouts (418).
