TAMPA, Fla. (January 19, 2026) – The University of South Florida women's basketball team hits the road for an American Conference matchup with Temple on Tuesday, January 20. The Bulls (12-7, 5-1 American) and the Owls (7-10, 1-4 American) are slated for a 7 p.m. tip on ESPN+ from Philadelphia.

Katie Davidson was named to the American Conference weekly honorable mention list. She averaged 20.0 points per game, 3.0 assists per game, and 2.5 rebounds per game. She has scored 20 or more points in three of the last four games.
Setting The Stage:
South Florida enters Tuesday on a five-game winning streak. The Bulls are coming off a 75-53 victory against Wichita State.
Carla Brito is one point away from reaching 1,000 career points and will become the 29th USF player to reach that milestone. Temple enters the contest on a three-game losing streak, including an 81-65 loss at East Carolina.
Series History:
The Bulls and the Owls will meet for the 24th time on Tuesday. USF leads the series 19-4. South Florida has won seven of the last eight games. The Bulls are 8-3 against the Owls in Philadelphia.

Stefanie Ingram is 17th in the NCAA and leads the American with 104 assists. Her 5.8 assists per game are tied for 20th in the country and pace the conference. She is third on the squad, averaging 10.2 points per contest. She leads the team with 23 steals.
Edyn Battle leads the team with 14.9 points per game. She would be third in the conference in scoring if she met the 75 percent of games played. She is second on the team with 45 assists.
L'or Mputu is one of four active DI players since the start of last season to have at least 1,300 minutes played, 8.0 rebounds per game, and a 57.0 field-goal percentage. She is one of three American Conference players this season with at least 55 offensive rebounds and 75 defensive rebounds. The others are Charlotte's Asianae Nicholson and Megan Nestor of North Texas. She is averaging 9.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per contest.
Katie Davidson is averaging 12.1 points per game, which is tied for 15th in the conference. She has scored at least 20 points in three of the last four contests.
USF has had six players score at least 20 points in a game this season. That is tied for the second most in DI, behind Oklahoma State (seven).
