Setting The Stage:

Series History:
The Bulls and Mean Green will meet for the sixth time on Saturday. South Florida holds a 3-2 series advantage. USF enters the game on a two-game winning streak, including a 58-48 victory in the conference tournament semifinal. The Bulls are 2-1 at home against the Mean Green.
Note-A-Bulls:
Carla Brito has recorded at least 10 points and 13 rebounds in back-to-back home games. The other only USF players over the last 10 seasons to do that in consecutive home games are Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu (six-game run in January-February 2023) and Bethy Mununga (five-game run in January-March 2021).
Edyn Battle has 101 points and 16 assists this season. The only other players this century to have at least 100 points and 15 assists through seven career games with USF are Sydni Harvey (2018) and Sonia Cotton (2001).
L'or Mputu is one of eight active DI players since the beginning of last season to have at least 1,000 minutes played, 8.0 rebounds per game, and a 57.0 field-goal percentage. She is one of two American Conference players this season with at least 40 offensive rebounds and 50 defensive rebounds, along with North Texas' Megan Nestor.
Stefanie Ingram is one of six DI players this season who have at least 150 points, 75 assists, and 15 made threes. Ingram is the only USF player this century to have these totals within her first 14 games of a season. She is just two assists away from tying the most assists in the first 15 games to start a career at USF since the 2000–01 season. Her 79 assists are the most recorded through a player's first 14 games in that span. She has accounted for 39.9 percent of the team's assists, the second-highest share in the American and 14th highest among all DI players. The last USF player to finish a season with a higher share of the category was Elisa Pinzan in 2020-21 (43.2%). She has recorded at least two assists in all 14 games this season. That is the longest streak to begin a campaign by any USF player since Elisa Pinzan's 23-game stretch to start the 2020-21 season.
Additional Notes:
South Florida has shot at least 80.0 percent from the free-throw line in seven different games this season. That is the second-highest in the American Conference, behind Rice (nine).
The Bulls have held their opponent to 16 or fewer fourth-quarter points in back-to-back games for the second time this season. They also did this in the first two games of the 2025-26 season.
USF has eight different players this season with at least 50 points and 30 rebounds. That is most in the American Conference and tied for fourth in Division I.
USF's active roster has played in a combined 868 games at the Division I level. That is the most among all American Conference teams and tied for the 10th most among all DI teams. South Florida has had 89.2 percent of its assists this season come from upperclassmen. That is the second-highest share in the American (Wichita State – 100.0) and 33rd in DI.
USF has four players this season averaging at least 9.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, tied with Rice for second-most in the American Conference (UAB - five). The last time the team had that many players was in 2021-22 (also four).
The Bulls have 11 different players with at least 10 free-throw attempts this season. That is the most in the American Conference and tied for the second-most in Division I.
