TAMPA, FEB. 13, 2026 – South Florida women's basketball (15-10; 8-4 American) will look to extend a two-game win streak as it opens a two-game road swing in Texas by taking on UTSA (12-11; 7-5 American) Saturday in San Antonio, Texas. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. (ET) tip on ESPN+ and can be heard on Bulls Unlimited digital radio.
The Bulls are tied for third in the American Conference standings while UTSA enters Saturday tied for fifth in the standings.
Setting The Stage:
South Florida is coming off back-to-back double-digit wins in the Yuengling Center as they head to Texas to face a UTSA team they defeated, 70-53, on January 13 in Tampa. USF shot 10-of-21 (47.6%) from three in that game and had three players in double-figures led by
Jelena Bulajic who scored 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting from three.
Carla Brito is coming off back-to-back outstanding games at home in which she posted double-doubles. Brito set a career high with seven assists and posted 15 points and 10 rebounds in the Bulls win over Tulsa on Wednesday.
Edyn Battle leads the Bulls and ranks fourth in The American in scoring, posting 14.8 ppg.
Katie Davidson, who scored 22 points in the win over Tulsa while going 5-of-8 from three, is 11
th in the league in scoring, posting 12.9 ppg.
South Florida leads The American scoring 72.3 ppg, while UTSA leads The American giving up just 58.4 ppg.
UTSA is also riding a two-game win streak after posting victories at Tulsa (66-47) and vs. Temple (52-43).
Series History:
The series is tied 2-2 with USF having won the last two meetings and UTSA claiming a pair of wins in the 2023-24 season.

Stefanie Ingram leads The American posting 5.9 assists per game and is second in assist to turnover ratio with a 1.8 mark.
Eden Battle ranks fifth in The American in both field goal percentage and free throw percentage, shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 81.1 percent from the line.
Carla Brito ranks fourth in The American in rebounding posting 9.1 rebounds per game, while L'or Mputu stands tied for seventh grabbing 8.1 per game. Brito (10 pts & 15 rebs) and Mputu (15 pts & 12 rebs) both posted double-doubles in the Bulls' win over Tulsa on Wednesday.
