TAMPA, Fla. (February 9, 2026) – The University of South Florida softball team welcomes Delaware for a Tuesday matinee at USF Softball Stadium. The Bulls (2-3) and Blue Hens (1-4) will play a doubleheader, with the first game at 3:05 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Bulls posted back-to-back run-rule victories over Kansas and Bethune-Cookman to highlight the Rawlings Invitational. Earlier this week,
Toryn Fulton was named to the American Conference's weekly honorable mention list. Fulton had a strong start to her college career. She went 3-for-6 at the plate over the weekend with two home runs, five RBIs, four runs scored, and a slugging percentage of 1.500.
Series History:
South Florida and Delaware will meet for the third time in game one. The Bulls won both games, including a 9-1 six-inning win last season in Tampa.
Note-A-Bulls:
McKenna Schroding is currently tied for first in the NCAA with a 0.00 ERA. With a WHIP of 0.50, McKenna is tied for 12th in the country and second in the conference.
Alexa Galligani and
Kathy Garcia-Soto are currently tied for 22nd in the nation and first in the American after being hit twice in the opening weekend.
Olivia Elliott is currently tied for the toughest player to strikeout in the NCAA. She is tied with eight other players.
Kathy Garcia-Soto and
Kiley Strott are tied for 18th nationally and for second in the conference with one triple.
South Florida is tied for 29th in the NCAA with two triples, which is tied for second in the American.
