Conway, S.C., March 14, 2026 – The South Florida Bulls beach volleyball team delivered a dominant performance on the sand, earning a pair of sweeps over the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles and the Salem College Spirits. 
 
South Florida 5, Tennessee Tech 0
South Florida controlled the duals from start to finish, winning every court in straight sets. Abigail Lagemann and Josephine Sek set the tone with a 21-11,21-13 victory. 
 
On court two, Sasha Pasloski and Bella Almeida continued the momentum with a straight-set win, 21-13, 21-9. South Florida's dominance carried over to court three where Zoey Mitchell and Cornelia Crudu cruised to a 21-9, 21-9 victory. 
 
Kate Stewart and Ariana Medchill kept things going with a commanding 21-10, 21-11 win, continuing the Bulls dominant performance. Rounding out the sweep, Ryann Genest and Morgan Anderson sealed the final point with a 21-14, 21-11 win, closing out the match.
 
Alyx Zapatka and Addison Bounds (Pair 6) also earned a straight-set win in exhibition play.
 
South Florida 5, Salem 0
South Florida completed their second sweep of the day against Salem College, 5-0. Lagemann and Sek again led the way with a 21-10,21-11 win, earning the first point of the match.
 
Pasloski and Anderson's strong performance added to the bulls lead as they pulled away with a 22-20, 21-6 victory. Pair fives, Alyx Zapatka and Addison Bounds earned their first win as a pair to clinch the match for the Bulls. 
 
Mitchell and Crudu continued their strong day with a commanding 21-7,21-6 victory. Genest and Almeida secured the final point with a 21-10,21-10 win to clinch the sweep. 
 
Note-A-Bulls:

• Back-to-Back Sweeps- The Bulls completed their first pair of back-to-back sweeps this season. 
• First Dual Win — Alyx Zapatka and Addison Bounds secured their first dual victory together.

Pri Piantadosi-Lima was named South Florida's first-ever beach volleyball head coach on June 6, 2023. She also serves as the head coach of USAV Beach and the national team development program and was honored as the 2022 USA Volleyball Female Junior Coach of the Year. Before joining South Florida, Piantadosi-Lima helped launch the Eckerd College program in 2015 as an assistant coach and helped lead the program to its first AVCA national championship and two consecutive NCAA championship podium finishes.
