New Orleans, La., March 6, 2026 – The South Florida women's basketball team (19-11; 12-5 American) concludes the regular season against Tulane (11-18; 6-11 American) on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. ET at Avron B. Fogelman Arena.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Jack Benjamin and Tiffany Aidoo on the call. It will also be available on Bulls Unlimited Digital Radio.
With a win over Tulane, South Florida would win its 800
th game in program history. It would also be the 20
th win of the season for the Bulls, the 13
th 20-win season in program history.
Michele Woods-Baxter would be the only active interim head coach in Division I men's or women's basketball to reach 20 wins this season.
The Bulls have clinched the No. 3 seed at the American Conference Tournament and will play in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. ET at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.
Setting the Stage
South Florida is coming off a dominant 82-36 victory over Temple on Senior Night on March 3. The Bulls are riding a three-game winning streak, beating Florida Atlantic and North Texas before Temple.
USF held Temple to a 16.7% field goal percentage, the lowest since holding Saint Francis to 13.5% on Nov. 24, 2019. South Florida's 46-point margin of victory against Temple is the second largest in a conference game this century, behind a 48-point victory against Temple on Feb. 9, 2020.
L'or Mputu led the Bulls with a career-high 20 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal on 71.4% shooting.
Edyn Battle recorded her second career double-double with 11 points, a career-high 12 assists, and seven rebounds.

Series History
South Florida leads the all-time series against Tulane, 33-20, including an 85-53 win over the Green Wave in Tampa on Feb. 7. Since joining the American Conference, USF has a 24-1 record against Tulane.
Note-a-Bulls
Stefanie Ingram leads the American with 5.8 assists per game and 173 total assists. She ranks 16
th in the nation in total assists and 17
th in assists per game. Her 173 total assists rank sixth in a single-season in program history. The redshirt junior is one of 19 Division I players this season with at least 300 points, 150 assists, and 100 rebounds. She is one of three American Conference players this season, averaging at least 10.0 points and 5.0 assists per game. The only USF players this century to finish a campaign with such marks are Elisa Pinzan (2020-21), Shantia Grace (2005-06), and Anerdra Gilmore (2004-05).
Edyn Battle is one of three American Conference players this season, averaging at least 15.0 points and 4.0 assists per game in conference play (Kennedy Fauntleroy and Daejah Richmond). No USF player this century has finished a campaign with those marks in conference games. She ranks third in the American in free-throw percentage (.824) and fifth with 4.5 assists per game during conference play.
Carla Brito recorded at least 10 points, 12 rebounds, and a steal in six straight games from Feb. 4-21. That is the longest streak in American Conference history and the longest by any Division I player this season. She ranks second in the American with 11.1 rebounds per game during conference play.
Additional Notes
USF's active roster has played in a combined 1,027 games at the Division I level. That is the most among all American Conference teams and the 12th most among all Division I teams.
The Bulls lead the league with 16.28 assists per game, field goal percentage (44.5%), and opponent field goal percentage (36.2%) during conference play.
South Florida ranks second in the conference in rebounding, pulling down 40.7 boards per game.
