TAMPA, Fla. (April 1, 2026) — The University of South Florida softball team is back on the road for a three-game series against UTSA. The Bulls (27-11, 9-3 American) and the Roadrunners (19-19, 7-5 American) are set to face off at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 2, on ESPN+.
Series History vs UTSA:
USF and UTSA will play their seventh game against each other on Thursday. The Bulls hold a 5-1 lead in the series. USF is 2-1 in games played at UTSA.
Note-A-Bulls:
Kathy Garcia-Soto is tied for fifth in the NCAA with five triples, which leads the American Conference. She is tied for 16th in the nation with 87 assists.
Alex Wilkes is tied for third in the conference with eight home runs. Her 41 RBIs are tied for 45th in the country and lead the American. She is tied for 32nd in the NCAA and leads the conference with 12 doubles.
Belle Sardja is tied for 15th in the NCAA and is second in the conference with three saves.
Carley Ernst is tied for 47th in the NCAA and tied for fourth in the American with two saves.
Alexa Galligani is tied for seventh in the NCAA with five sacrifice flies, which also ranks her first in the American Conference.
Toryn Fulton is tied for 32nd in the nation and tied for fourth in the conference with four sacrifice flies.
The Bulls lead the NCAA with 42 sacrifice bunts. USF is tied for fourth nationally with 23 double plays. South Florida is tied for 14th in the country with 13 triples, the most in the conference. The Bulls are tied for seventh in the NCAA with a .983 fielding percentage, the best mark in the conference. South Florida has recorded 19 sacrifice flies, ranking tied for ninth in the NCAA and leading the conference.
The South Florida pitching staff is tied for 26th in the NCAA and leads the American Conference with six shutouts. USF ranks 35th nationally and is second in the conference with an ERA of 3.06. The Bulls are 43rd overall and are second in the conference with a WHIP of 1.37.
