TAMPA, Fla. (April 21, 2026) – The South Florida women's basketball team has signed former NC State forward Mallory Collier, head coach Kristy Curry announced on Tuesday.

Mallory brings an interior presence in the paint with great physicality, size, and the ability to be efficient at the rim on both ends of the floor," Curry said. "She has been to three straight NCAA Tournaments and understands what it takes to compete at a high level. We are thrilled to welcome her to Tampa Bay's Home for Hoops!"
Collier is a 6-foot-3 forward from Millington, Tenn., who has one year of eligibility remaining. She is a force in the paint, with a .585 field goal percentage in her college career.
As a junior in 2025-26 at NC State, Collier posted career-highs in field goal percentage (.621) and free-throw percentage (.750) while appearing in 16 games off the bench. She scored a season-high eight points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting performance with two rebounds at Pittsburgh.
Collier registered seven points on 3-of-6 from the field with two rebounds against Southern Miss at the Cancun Challenge. She logged her first career NCAA Tournament points, scoring three at No. 2 seed Michigan in the Round of 32.
As a sophomore, Collier played 29 games with 11 starts, averaging 3.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.2 blocks per game while shooting 43-of-75 (.573) from the field. She ranked fourth on the team with 37 offensive rebounds. The forward recorded three points and a career-high nine rebounds in 28 minutes against Ole Miss in the SEC/ACC Challenge.
Collier scored a season-high eight points on 4-of-5 shooting in just eight minutes at Stanford. She logged six points in consecutive games against Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
During her freshman season, Collier played in 22 games and recorded four games with four or more rebounds while shooting 18-of-31 (.581) from the field. She finished with six points, three rebounds, and a career-high two steals against Kentucky, then followed with a career-high 10 points and four rebounds against Cincinnati.
In her collegiate debut against Charlotte, Collier posted three points, four rebounds, and a career-high two blocks in 10 minutes. She pulled down a season-high five rebounds against Old Dominion.
In high school, Collier was ranked the No. 55 player in the class of 2023 by ESPN with a scout grade of 93. She averaged 11.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game during her senior year on a Bartlett team that reached the state title game. The forward was a finalist for Miss Tennessee Basketball and the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year.
Collier was named the 2022 Memphis Area Player of the Year and selected to the All-Metro Girls Basketball First Team. She was a 2023 McDonald's All-America Game nominee and a 2022 Team USA Trials invitee.
