USF Beach Volleyball Earns Conference USA Academic Awards

18 Bulls earn CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, while 13 secure Commissioner’s Academic Medal Honors.

DALLAS Texas., April 8, 2026 – The University of South Florida beach volleyball team had 18 student-athletes earn Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition, with 13 of them also awarded CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medals. 
 
A total of 3,725 student-athletes have earned recognition to the Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2025-26 academic year. 
 
To earn Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2025 or fall 2025. 
 
18 Bulls were named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll: Isabella Alemeida, Morgan Anderson, Gabrielle Bissell, Addison Bounds, Cornelia Crudu, Ryann Genest, Lola Hufnagel, Abigail Lagemann, Tereza Lajkebová, Raíssa Lucena, Ariana Medchill, Zoey Mitchell, Julia Panko, Sasha Pasloski, Aracelys Sanchez, Josephine Sek, Emma Stewart, and Alyx Zapatka
 
To be awarded a Commissioner's Academic Medal, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better and have completed at least one academic semester at the institution in either spring 2025 or fall 2025. 
 
13 South Florida beach volleyball players were awarded CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medals: Isabella Almeida, Morgan Anderson, Gabrielle Bissell, Addison Bounds, Cornelia Crudu, Ryann Genest, Lola Hufnagel, Abigal Lagemann, Ariana Medchill, Sasha Pasloski, Josephine Sek, Emma Stewart, Alyx Zapatka.
 
The Bulls are 18-6 on the season and are preparing to head to Boise, Idaho for the Boise State Beach Blast on April 10-11.

About USF Beach Volleyball
The University of South Florida Beach Volleyball program is the newest program in the now 21-team USF Athletics program. South Florida Beach Volleyball joined Conference USA on July 1, 2025. Pri Piantadosi-Lima was named South Florida's first-ever beach volleyball head coach on June 6, 2023. She also serves as the head coach of USAV Beach and the national team development program and was honored as the 2022 USA Volleyball Female Junior Coach of the Year. Before joining South Florida, Piantadosi-Lima helped launch the Eckerd College program in 2015 as an assistant coach and helped lead the program to its first AVCA national championship and two consecutive NCAA championship podium finishes.
